Acceptable use

Pylon jets are for mail people asked for: receipts, product updates, newsletters to opted-in lists, and transactional systems.

Prohibited: purchased or scraped lists, phishing, malware, snowshoeing across jets or IPv4s, “unlimited” claims, RDP/Windows mailers (including Gammadyne), or anything that would get a dedicated IP burned in a day.

Daily caps are hard. SMTP past today’s effective cap is rejected at the banner — it does not queue. Mission letters past the clip hold short until tomorrow. Warmup is on by default. A skip is a request; only support can approve it, and a burned IP after a skip is not a refund.

One sending address per jet. Extra IPv4s round-robin the same From. Do not share that SMTP user with a second client or a “partner list.” That is how dedicated becomes shared, and the listing lands on you. Need another brand? Buy another jet.

You are the sender of record for the domain licensed to you. Pylon is the registrant of included .com names. Keep WHOIS privacy if you like — you still own the reputation.

Complaints that exceed a small threshold freeze the jet until you respond. Gmail’s 0.3% of delivered, 10 in 7 days, or 5 in a day on Spark and Beacon — Mission grounds itself. If you received unsolicited mail from a Pylon IP, write abuse@pylonsmtp.com with the headers. We pause first, argue later. We will terminate accounts that treat dedicated iron as a spam cannon.
